Weldon Auditorium in Clarendon County, SC
The Weldon Auditorium re-opening project involved an abandoned High School Auditorium that was to be brought back to life to benefit the citizens of Clarendon County. The County planned to refurbish and re-open the auditorium to the public for community events, performances, plays, movie nights and concerts.
They wanted to record audio and video from events with a camera system, display BluRay High Definition movies on to a 20’ wide screen and have a first class audio system with hung speakers, subwoofers, an array of performance quality microphones and an audio mixer to handle all recording and mixing needs.
The WH Platts Company provided a camera solution including 3 High Definition robotic cameras, DVD recorder, a High Definition production video switcher/ multiplexer with High definition monitor for High Defenition quality video recording.
The WH Platts Company also provided a 3 Chip DLP, 10,000 lumen Projector and sound system that has the audience thinking they are at the movies.
Clarendon County patrons are very satisfied with the system we installed and are enjoying their new Auditorium.
